2010 about to leave~~

Weehhhuuu... Today is 16th December 2010; another 15 days to go & its 2011! Phew.. When I was a child, I always looking forward for new year.. Of course the countdown party. fireworks.. karaoke at midnight.. n of course, get to buy new school uniforms, books, stationeries, shoes, etc.. n the utmost can't wait is when the school opens for i can meet my friends & learn new thing.. (with a lil injection of pride getting the seniority status in school.. ehehehe).. but its different when you are an adult.. well, we have to prepare for the party.. we have to get prepare with the budget.. we have to think what to buy or what not to.. etc.. etc.. etc.. Seriously, I HATE BEING AN ADULT! hahaha..

Well.. its being a norm to evaluate what we have done the whole year & to decide whether we had achieved our new year resolution.. Well.. Mine was absolutely out of target..
Ehe.. you'll see the difference here:-

[ Daaayyuumm..! Its hurting real bad to see this.. ha3.. ;) ]

Alrite.. It's been a 'long year' in 2010.. I've been through a lot of ups n downs in life.. Somehow rather, I feel that my journey is still a long way to go.. It's gonna take more than forever for me to really understands the meaning of life.. So many sorry.. regrets.. hurts.. torments.. losts.. hatred.. disastifactions.. but yet, Love came in disguise.. the Love that accepts me of who I am.. who respect me.. who is tender and gentle.. Love that brings sunshine in my life.. love that gives hope and never get bored in making me believe of myself.. I am thankful for the blessing and I hope; that love is the final and for eternity..

for year 2011, I hope for nothing else..
but a better JacJac..
Wish me luck fellas! =)

Interracial Marriage Challenges
Interracial Marriage Challenges From Others
By Sheri & Bob Stritof, About.com Guide

As an interracial couple you will possibly face extra challenges in your marriage from people outside your marriage. If you want to make sure that these possible challenges don't hurt your marriage, talk about them with one another!

·         Open hostility and intimidation
·         Negative stereotyping
·         Derogatory comments
·         Stares, insults, jibes, slights, and whispers
·         A sense of isolation
·         Possible family rejection or being disinherited

Interracial Marriage Challenges From One Another

Expectations:
It can be very romantic and exciting to love someone different. However, don't let the attraction of forbidden love distract you from dealing with the issues that your interracial marriage may have to face.

Don't fall into the myth of thinking that your love for one another can overcome anything life throws at you. Every married couple needs to develop and use effective communication skills so that difficult times can be handled in healthy ways.

Children:
You and your spouse need to discuss how you will raise your children and help your kids to understand and appreciate their mixed identity. Make sure that you provide your children will positive stories of both of your family histories.

As your children grow up, listen to them share their concerns, stereotypes, doubts, and possible prejudices. Answer their questions.

Holidays:
All married couples face stress during holidays. Talk about your cultural differences in how holidays were celebrated when you were kids. Realize that holidays give the two of you a chance to discuss how your family will handle both the differences and similarities in your backgrounds.

Be proud of your cultural traditions and work together to create ways to celebrate them that will be meaningful to you both.

Know Yourself:
If you want to have a strong interracial marriage, believe in who you are. If you feel confusion about your own life, deal with your own issues before trying to merge your life with someone else.

Know Your Differences:
Discuss your cultural differences regarding topics such as religion, diet, birth control, parenting preferences, grief, finances, sex, extended family relationships, gender roles, communication styles, and traditions.

Bottom Line
The racial and cultural differences in your interracial marriage won't necessarily cause your relationship to fail. What can cause an interracial marriage to fall apart is the inability of a couple to handle their differences and a failure to talk about stress and prejudice created by others.

........WHAT MORE I CAN SAY...  NOT ONLY THOSE-INTERRACIAL MARRIAGES FACE CHALLENGES; BUT OTHERS (THAT CAME FROM THE SAME BACKGROUND) DO HAVE THE SAME KIND OF CHALLENGE.. WHAT'S IMPORTANT IS HOW THE COUPLE WORKS WITH EACH OTHER, HOW THEY  DEAL WITH THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THE FAMILY'S STABILITY; KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE HEADING TO; N MOST IMPORTANTLY, HOW TO NUTURE THE LOVE SO THAT IT WOULD STAY (LIKE) FOREVER..  =)

Seasons Greeting All! ^^

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas to all friends out there!! For those who are not celebrating the birthday of The Saviour, I wish you a happy holiday!!

Now, my siblings and I really love this one song. Its catchy and enjoyable.
I must look for Rudolph's horn before I'm flying back to Song! ^^

Twas a netballer.. =)

I started playing netball when I was in Standard 4.. I started as a substitute.. :P later.. after gaining a few experience and master some skills, I became the Center.. Was a dedicated Centre until Form 2... So many girls wanted the position badly (which I can't understand why..), that they pull their face with others.. (so choosyy laahh..) erkk? (because of fame? maybbbeee.. ) so, I decided to step back.. Made me a winger.. WA can, WD also can.. made me a good player though, whereas, i can play any positions because I love netball and i don't mind with the position thingy. (not trying to boast here.. heheh.. ) the best part is, when you r in a strong team, being a GK is heaven! hahaha.. Now, when im moving to the new school, I become a GA; sometimes GS.. until present.. ooopssie.. last year to be exact, December 2009.. ehehe.. =P

Well, for me, every positions in a netball team do special in every means.. Center is the heart of a team, the WD, GD helps to defend, the WA, GA helps each other to forward the ball to GS; of which GS is the final destination+the dream of points addition.. ehe.. Netball is about tactic, discipline, coordination, passion, teamwork.. its about finding the right time to do the right thing.. its about satisfaction and friendship!

Owhh. i miss my time with my teammates.. =)

*This was taken in year 2008 @ Kelantan.. M with the KPPK team back then.. =)

Lanun-Lanun 1st Hunt

Well, I had received an email from JPP inviting to participate in their 2010 Treasure Hunt. They were promoting "wat is sewerage" to public-awareness.. Well, although I'm working in the ministry that responsible for it, I don't know much though. Ehe.. (shammeeeee!).. I love treasure hunting, so,  I went looking for team mate and I also asked Kak Intan to participate too because I knew she shares the same interest.. ehe.. Well, my team consist of 4 members:-myself, Echa, Coach A (driver), & Mr. Navi. Coach A & I named our team as Lanun-Lanun (we couldn't think of any other better ideas meh! ehe). So, the hunting starts at app. 9am, soon after the briefing @ Auditorium Parcel E on  Dec 4th, 2010, Saturday morning.

3 of my members were 1st timers & I applaud them for their job well done. They really get the game real fast.. Congratulations! Ehe.. KSU graced the flag-off ceremony that morning.. (She has been coughing during her speech.. poor thing.. hope that she recovered soon..) When it was our turn, we reset the counter and followed the tulips 'dedicately'.. Ehe.. We managed to follow the map until we lost our way @ Nilai for 1 hour. That was because misread the tulips! Ehe.. Despite the lost & diziness, we managed to reach Thistle PD 10 min. late... means 4 points penalty!  =)

Ehe.. Here.. Catch some of our pictures! Ehe..

WE ARE THE CHAMPION!
Hurraaayyyyy!!!!

Teambuilding @ Bukit Merah Laketown Resort

I went to a teambuilding course @ Bukit Merah Laketown Resort, Perak @ 23-25 Nov. 2010. It was organized by our HR Dept. for those who have not achieved the attending-7-day-courses-a-year.. hehehehe.. Well, when I seek for my boss' permission to participate, I was surprised that she let me go.. It was like once in a blue moon.. "She really-really- really let me go?!" Ehe.. well, all these while it was really hard to attend courses esp. courses that doesn't "related" with my job.

Well, I was quite awkward during the course. I'm a lady with no interesting personality nor excellent PR.. Yeah, as expected, am not that good in making acquaintance.. (but was elected as the Penghuluwati? wat der park?! hahah) So, I was thinking of keeping down low and go with the flow.. I did enjoy my time there although I felt something missing somewhere... Maybe because I don't have my good friends around? Naahh. It was just that I haven't gone to any courses for quite sometime now.. Ehe.. well, I did learn a lot too; especially pertaining to workplace relationship. Well, OM normal thingy; supervisors, subordinates, office, upwards, downwards, delegating, how to work together, etc.. ehe.. the faci also touches a lil bit about relationship between hubby-wifey; more to family institution i would say. He told us that, one's performance is very much affected with his/her well being at home.. Next thing is, every relationship must have 'LOVE'.. It is not a lovey-dovey term occay? ehe.. when you have love to one another, you will have the emphaty.. and that made you  a person with "heart". Never look down others as they are humans like yourself; which is, human is the most perfect creation that ever He made. What made us so special and what made us different is the way we think & what is inside us.. Nobody is wrong, it is only opinion that can be mend for a betterment. Made me interested to become a motivator; like Pak Ya.. ehe..

Well, I did take some photos during the session. Do enjoy them.. peace! =)

* I WANNA ATTEND MORE COURSES! =)

Just The Way You Are ^^

Bruno Mars..
You make my day today with the wonderful song
"Just the way you are"..
Thanks to Wa, I began to like this song and now  lovin it..

Awwwhh...
I'm so-in-to this line:-
"When I see your face, There's not a thing that I would change, Cause you're amazing, Just the way you are, And when you smile, The whole world stops and stares for awhile, Cause girl you're amazing, Just the way you are"..

(Bruno Mars)
Oh her eyes, her eyes
Make the stars look like they're not shining
Her hair, her hair
Falls perfectly without her trying

She's so beautiful
And I tell her every day

Yeah I know, I know
When I compliment her
She wont believe me
And its so, its so
Sad to think she don't see what I see

But every time she asks me do I look okay
I say

When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops and stares for awhile
Cause girl you're amazing
Just the way you are

Her nails, her nails
I could kiss them all day if she'd let me
Her laugh, her laugh
She hates but I think its so sexy

She's so beautiful
And I tell her every day

Oh you know, you know, you know
Id never ask you to change
If perfect is what you're searching for
Then just stay the same

So don't even bother asking
If you look okay
You know I say

When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops and stares for awhile
Cause girl you're amazing
Just the way you are

The way you are
The way you are
Girl you're amazing
Just the way you are

When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops and stares for a while
Cause girl you're amazing
Just the way you are
